The CMA Final course is the culminating stage of the Cost and Management Accountancy program offered by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). As the most advanced level of the program, the CMA Final is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and expertise in a wide range of subjects, including advanced cost and management accounting, strategic management, financial management, taxation, and corporate laws.

The primary goal of the CMA Final course is to prepare candidates to tackle complex managerial and strategic issues within organizations. It offers an intensive curriculum that equips students with the analytical skills and strategic thinking needed to excel in high-level financial and management roles.

  • Eligibility
  • Qualify In Intermediate Course Examination (i.e. in both Groups)
  • Eligible to enroll in final Course
  • Registration must be completed at least 4 months prior to the commencement of examination.
  • Only the candidates who have passed Intermediate Examination of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India are eligible for admission to Final Course.
  • Copy of Intermediate Pass Mark sheet is to be furnished along with the Admission Form.
  • Enrolment must be at least 4 (four) months prior to the commencement of Examination.
  • Student from foreign countries should submit the forms to the Headquarters only.

  • Examination
  • The ICMAI conducts the CMA Final exams at various centers across India and overseas. Candidates need to register for the exams through the ICMAI website and prepare thoroughly as per the syllabus provided by the institute.
  • Each paper in the CMA Final carries 100 marks, and the exams are conducted twice a year in June and December.
  • Career Opportunities
  • Upon successfully clearing the CMA Final exams and completing the required practical training, candidates become eligible to apply for membership with the ICMAI. Certified CMAs from ICMAI are recognized for their expertise in cost and management accounting, financial management, strategic planning, and compliance, making them valuable assets in various industries and sectors.
